Edgecraft Solutions Pvt Ltd is seeking a QA Engineer to champion product quality with a builder’s mindset. You’ll work on API and test automation, using AI tools to enhance coverage, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include maintaining automation frameworks, performing automated tests across browsers, and documenting test strategies. Remote work is supported with international collaboration potential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in test automation.
• Basic programming knowledge in Python/JavaScript/TypeScript and writing test scripts.
• Familiarity with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium; Playwright is a plus.
• Understanding of API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Basic knowledge of AI-assisted testing techniques, such as test case generation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and Jira.
• Ability to troubleshoot automation failures and provide timely resolutions.
• Meticulous with an eye for detail.
• Going beyond the call of duty and taking initiative.
• Passion to work with people for the people.

Responsibilities

• Maintain existing automation frameworks for web apps and APIs.
• Utilize Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium for tests.
• Execute automated functional, integration, regression, and API tests across browsers.
• Collaborate with developers, PMs and designers to identify risks early.
• Track defects, perform root-cause analysis, ensure timely closure.
• Document automation strategies, test plans and coverage reports.
• Leverage AI-powered testing to expand coverage and generate cases.
