Job summary

Himalayas is seeking a hands-on QA Engineer to own feature quality across web, Android, and integrations. You will combine manual and exploratory testing with AI tools, validate automated test coverage, and investigate issues beyond the UI to ensure features are ready for release.

We value ownership, curiosity, and collaboration with developers and product managers. You will use AI thoughtfully, validate outputs, and continuously improve testing practices and workflows in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on QA experience across web, mobile, and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Own feature quality from requirements and design review through production.
• Test with AI for design, edge cases, investigation, log analysis, and automation.
• Test across Android, web, and integrations (exploratory, functional, integration, regression).
• Dig deeper using logs, network traffic, APIs, DevTools, and code diffs.
• Guard the automation by validating E2E coverage and monitoring CI results.
• Close bugs through investigation, resolution, verification and closure.
• Share AI-assisted QA practices and drive QA process improvements.
