Job summary
Eliassen Group is seeking a QA Automation Engineer for a contract engagement. This remote role supports financial services clients across agile teams, focusing on functional and performance testing, CI integration, and code reviews.
The ideal candidate has hands-on automation experience with Selenium with Java, Java or Perl test frameworks, Appium or Xcode for mobile, and strong SQL skills. W2 hourly rate $75.00 to $82.00/hr.
Qualifications
- Technical degree or related work experience.
- Experience as an Automation Engineer using tools such as Selenium with Java or similar.
- Experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks using languages such as Java or Perl.
- Hands-on experience with load, integration, security, and server-side testing.
- Proficiency in automating web and mobile applications using tools such as Appium or Xcode.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL, or Oracle.
- Experience with Git version control and CI/CD tools.
- Experience with agile development.
Responsibilities
- Review requirements, specs, and design docs to provide feedback.
- Participate in requirements analysis, QA test planning, defect reviews, and sprint planning.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
- Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and artifacts.
- Execute and evaluate automated test cases and report results.
- Perform risk assessments and validate business requirements.
- Investigate bugs and write clear defect reports.
- Monitor, triage, and drive resolution of issues.
