Job summary

Fusemachines is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain Playwright end-to-end tests for web applications and Maestro flows for mobile UI automation. You will translate requirements into test plans, contribute to the automation framework, and collaborate with developers and product teams to improve quality.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in QA, deep experience with Playwright (TypeScript/JS), Maestro, and testing React Native apps on iOS/Android, plus CI/CD and Git.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of QA experience with a focus on test automation.
• Hands‑on Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Hands‑on Maestro for mobile UI automation.
• Experience testing React Native apps on iOS/Android.
• Proven ability to design or extend an automation framework, not just scripts.
• Strong understanding of E2E/regression testing and test design.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Playwright E2E test suites for web apps.
• Create and maintain Maestro flows for React Native apps on iOS/Android.
• Define and evolve the test automation framework and reporting.
• Translate requirements into test plans, cases, and automated scenarios.
• Triage failures, debug flaky tests, keep suites stable and fast.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and designers on quality.
• Perform targeted manual and exploratory testing where needed.
• Maintain test data, environments, and documentation.
• Contribute to QA strategy, coverage, and release-readiness checks.
• Mentor teammates on automation best practices.
