Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated and manual tests for enterprise applications in a remote-friendly, collaborative team. You will build UI automation with Playwright in JavaScript/TypeScript, contribute to CI/CD through GitHub Actions, and ensure coverage across AWS-based workloads using Vue.js, Python, Django, and S3.

Qualifications

• Four or more years in quality assurance, software testing, or enterprise system testing.
• Experience in QA/testing of AWS-based workloads.
• Experience with manual and automated testing, including defect documentation and regression testing.
• Strong background in Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript and API testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts across multiple user roles and workflows.
• Design and implement UI automation using Playwright for reliable test coverage.
• Lead test automation initiatives and integrate tests into CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Conduct manual testing of features and perform regression testing.
• Create and organize testing suites in TestRail or similar tools.
• Periodically run full manual test suites for regression testing.
• Peer-review test automation code for quality and consistency.
• Communicate results, defects, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders during releases.
