EITACIES Inc. is seeking an experienced QA Tester / Application Tester for a remote US-based role ( Hartford, CT area). The tester will perform system testing, user acceptance testing, and validate requirements across the stack.

You will document test results, assist with defect resolution, and support automation framework development. The role requires 5–7 years of testing IT projects, proficiency in C# or Java, and experience with NIEM XML, SOAP UI/Postman, and SQL Server.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Technology.
• 5–7 years of tester experience on IT projects.
• Experience in NIEM XML or similar XML standards.
• Testing web services with SoapUI/Postman.
• Familiarity with IBM Rational Jazz Suite.
• Understand complex integrated systems and trace issues.
• Experience with SOA technologies.
• SQL scripting with MS SQL Server.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
• Proficiency in C# or Java.
• Knowledge of Extent Reports for automation reporting.
• GitHub experience and data-driven automation testing.

Responsabilités

• Create test use cases and perform testing; report results.
• Document testing processes for the team and project managers.
• Assist in defect resolution and testing process consulting.
• Develop stakeholder presentations when required by Management.
• Log test results and defects in defect management tooling.
• Validate Traceability Matrix against contractual requirements.
• Lead lifecycle of Automation framework development.
• Collaborate on architecture and expansion of the framework.
• Maintain automation test suite and DevOps integration.
