Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a QA Automation Lead to drive automated testing across UI, APIs, integrations and data. You will partner with engineering and delivery teams to strengthen product quality, investigate defects, and embed automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

This remote-supported role is open to qualified applicants in the United States. The candidate has 10+ years of QA and hands-on automation, with Java, Selenium WebDriver, REST Assured, and API testing experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of QA and test automation experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Selenium WebDriver, and REST Assured.
• Experience testing REST APIs and JSON payloads.
• Experience with SQL and database testing.
• Experience in CI/CD integration and Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute UI and API automation test suites.
• Create test plans, scenarios, and cases based on requirements.
• Validate functionality, system integrations, APIs, and data across testing stages.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing.
• Investigate defects and collaborate with engineering to resolve issues.
