Job summary

Qualifications

• Five or more years of QA experience with hands-on manual and automation testing.
• Strong QA methodologies, SDLC, defect lifecycle, test planning, and RTM.
• Hands-on automation with Selenium, TestNG, and Java.
• REST API testing, SOAP Web Services, Postman, JSON/XML validation, and SQL data checks.
• Experience transforming requirements into test scenarios and cases.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum with Jira and defect triage.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on manual and automated testing across multiple enterprise applications and integrated systems.
• Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test scenarios, test cases, test data, and automated test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
• Review requirements, user stories, and design docs to identify test coverage and gaps.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, API, backend, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and maintain automated tests using approved frameworks and improve automation coverage.
• Validate REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, interfaces and integrations with JSON/XML validation.
• Perform backend database validation using SQL to verify data and processing results.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and track QA effort in project plans and schedules.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and manage defects through resolution and triage.
• Maintain RTM traceability between requirements, test cases, executions, and defects.
• Document test execution status and risks for leadership.
