Primerica is seeking a Software Testing Analyst to ensure the quality of licensing and prelicensing software. You will design test plans, write cases, and manually validate applications, working closely with product owners and developers.

Responsibilities include software verification across the development life cycle, defect reporting, and risk escalation. The role emphasizes hands-on testing, Jira/TestRail usage, and knowledge of SQL/DB2/SQL Server in a multi-platform environment.

Qualifications

• Technical trade or technical school in project management, technology, or equivalent discipline required.
• At least 2 years’ experience in quality assurance testing.
• Experience estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating testing activities.
• Strong hands-on test case and test protocol writing skills.
• Thorough understanding of testing methodologies including smoke and regression testing.

Responsibilities

• Software verification of applications across the life cycle including planning, design, implementation and testing.
• Prepare test plans and test scenarios to satisfy project requirements and quality standards.
• Write and execute manual system-level test cases and procedures; analyze results.
• Report defects and collaborate with analysts, Product Owner and developers to resolve them.
• Perform debugging and root cause analysis of product issues or defects.
• Provide input and estimates to project planning and communicate risks to stakeholders.
• Escalate software quality concerns and support testing across departments.
• Maintain knowledge of Agile development and Scrum methodologies.
