Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a QA Analyst II to lead independent testing across business and technology solutions. You will develop test strategies, write test plans and cases, and validate system functionality with users and stakeholders.

You will mentor junior team members, coordinate testing across multiple projects, monitor quality metrics, and report risks and defect trends to project teams. Experience with SDLC/STLC, defect tracking, and test automation tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years QA experience in financial services, or high school/GED with 8+ years QA experience.
• Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Strong SDLC/STLC knowledge and defect-management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, cases, scripts, and strategies.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, UAT, and manual testing.
• Document and retest defects; coordinate triage and reviews.
• Analyze testing data and report metrics and risk findings.
• Mentor junior QA analysts and lead testing-related meetings.
