Job summary

Neier Inc. is looking for a Tech Lead (Senior Staff or Principal Engineer) to own the technical direction of their core platform. In this remote-first role, you will have the opportunity to design scalable systems, mentor a team, and make impactful decisions alongside company leadership.

You will be expected to have 8–10 years of software engineering experience, with a focus on Python and cloud-native development. The position also offers a competitive salary and unlimited PTO.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in senior technical leadership roles.
• Strong focus on security, performance, and reliability in production systems.
• Experience designing REST, gRPC, or GraphQL APIs at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture: Design and evolve a scalable, cloud‑native platform.
• Lead by example: Set engineering standards and write production‑grade code.
• Collaborate closely with product, infra, and leadership.
