Job summary

TECHEAD is hiring a Software Engineer for a fully remote role in the United States. You will design, build, and maintain web applications across a modern stack including Python (FastAPI) on the backend, Vue.js on the frontend, and PostgreSQL for data management.

You will work across the stack to build high-performance REST APIs, responsive UIs, and efficient database architectures, collaborating with DevOps, UI/UX, and product managers in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with full-stack web applications.
• Strong Python with FastAPI experience.
• Hands-on PostgreSQL including schema design and queries.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design, Git, and async programming.
• Eligible to undergo a background investigation for Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and maintain backend APIs using FastAPI.
• Develop interactive frontend interfaces with Vue.js.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries.
• Ensure security, scalability, and high availability across the stack.
• Write clean, well-tested code and follow secure coding practices.
• Collaborate with DevOps, UI/UX, and product teams in an Agile environment.
