Job summary

OpenTrain AI, Inc. is seeking contributors to build software and training data for evaluating AI agents. You may work on the connectors track, creating Python backends that replicate SaaS tools, or the task track, creating realistic long-horizon tasks and ways to grade them.

This is a remote, four-week contractor engagement with focus on backend development, Python and tooling for quality evaluation and reproducibility.

Qualifications

• At least three years of backend development experience.
• Strong experience with Python web frameworks (FastAPI, Flask or Django).
• Experience building scalable backends and REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Build Python backends that replicate tools and SaaS workflows.
• Extend and test connectors and backends.
• Study workflows to design long-horizon tasks and rubrics.
• Create and validate evaluation rubrics for AI agents.
• Collaborate in calibration and milestone reviews.
