Maximus is seeking a Pursuit Project Manager to drive complex business development opportunities and RFP responses. You will lead cross-functional pursuit teams, develop integrated plans, track milestones and risks, and ensure on-time delivery of pursuit activities.

The role emphasizes mentoring, governance, and leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve visibility, efficiency, and execution in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 7+ years of experience.
• Hands-on management of complex pursuits with multiple workstreams.
• Strong cross-functional coordination and executive visibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead pursuit teams to execute actions and deliverables aligned to timelines.
• Create and manage integrated project plans, milestones, and calendars.
• Track ownership, due dates, risks, issues, and decisions with updates.
• Manage logs and escalate decisions with clear options and next steps.
• Coordinate across operations, IT, pricing, HR, finance, and sales.
• Use AI-enabled tools to streamline status reporting and notes.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure governance materials are complete.
