Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of related work experience, preferably in medical journal publications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or other related field (or substitute with four additional years of related experience).
• Knowledge of NIH Public Access policy, PubMed Central deposit requirements, publication compliance processes, or grant-reporting publication needs.

Responsabilités

• Manage all day-to-day operational tasks related to COG manuscript development.
• Serve as the primary contact for authors, writing committees, and statisticians.
• Coordinate internal leadership reviews and external reviews as applicable for manuscripts and abstracts.
• Ensure NIH/NCI policies and publication requirements are met and tracked.
• Travel to COG Group Meetings twice a year to support meeting operations.
