Job summary

Dawar Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Publications Lead for a 100% remote role to oversee manuscripts, abstracts, posters and presentations from planning to submission.

You’ll collaborate with Medical Affairs, Clinical, HEOR, investigators and vendors, manage timelines, ensure ICMJE and GPP compliance, and maintain publication trackers across multiple programs. Advanced degree and 5–7+ years in medical publications are required; you must demonstrate strong project management and communication

Qualifications

• PhD/MD/PharmD/MSc in Life Sciences or related field.
• 5-7+ years of medical publications experience in pharma/biotech.
• Strong knowledge of ICMJE and GPP guidelines; experience with vendors and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead publication planning and execution across manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentations.
• Manage publications from planning through submission and post-publication activities.
• Coordinate with Medical Affairs, Clinical, HEOR, investigators, authors, and external experts.
• Oversee medical writing agencies, review deliverables, and manage timelines and risks.
• Maintain publication trackers, calendars, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with ICMJE, GPP, and internal publication policies.
• Support multiple therapeutic programs and take ownership of ongoing projects with minimal onboarding.
