Job summary

Zekai is seeking board-certified psychiatrists (MDs and DOs) to evaluate health AI models remotely in partnership with a leading AI lab. You will read de-identified patient charts, judge AI responses, and write structured rationales to ensure clinical rigor and safety. This is a 100% remote contract role requiring US residency.

Start date is immediate. Flexible part-time hours and hourly compensation apply. Applicants must be located in the United States and board-certified in ABPN Psychiatry.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board certified in ABPN Psychiatry (ABMS or AOA).
• Active, unrestricted US medical license.
• Residency complete with fellowship if required.
• Currently practicing in the US with at least 1 year of independent practice after training.
• 3+ years post-training experience preferred.
• Clear written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI answers to psychiatry questions for clinical accuracy, safety and alignment with current standards of care.
• Check each answer against the patient chart and decide which of two responses is stronger.
• Write structured rationales on clinical rigor, completeness and clarity.
• Flag errors that could compromise patient safety.
