Job summary
Thriveworks is seeking a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in California to provide telemedicine-based psychiatric care. The role requires board certification and active prescriptive authority, with ADHD training completed after hire.
The clinician will assess, diagnose, and treat adults and adolescents, collaborating with regional staff. The position offers a remote model with a competitive ramp stipend for 30+ hours weekly.
Qualifications
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification.
- Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state of California.
- Three years of experience is a plus; 1 year of psychiatry practice is required.
- All clinicians must be licensed and live in the state they practice.
- ADHD training certification is required after hire.
Responsibilities
- Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations via telemedicine.
- Willingness to treat clients aged 12 and up.
- Prescribe medications to reduce mental health symptoms as needed.
- Create and collaborate on individualized care plans.
- Complete necessary paperwork and assessment tools.
- Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines.
- Consult with Regional Clinic Directors on client programs and services.
