Job summary

Thriveworks is seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners to join a nationwide remote practice. Clinicians must be licensed in the practicing state and enjoy a flexible telemedicine environment with a fee-for-service (W2) compensation model and 25-35 clinical hours per week.

Providers will treat adolescents and adults with mental health conditions, develop care plans, and collaborate with regional directors.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification.
• Master’s in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state.
• Understanding of AdvancedMD EMR is a plus.
• Three years of experience is a plus; 1 year of psychiatry practice is required.
• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners need to be licensed and live in the state in which they will be practicing.
• All clinicians are required to complete an in-house training on ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approach, followed by a certification exam.

Responsibilities

• Make psychiatric assessments via telemedicine.
• Willingness to treat patients aged 14 and up.
• Prescribe medications to reduce mental health symptoms as needed.
• Create and collaborate on care plans with clients.
• Complete paperwork and assessment tools for clients.
• Adhere to Thriveworks Clinical Practice Guidelines.
• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients and services.
