Zusammenfassung

Ascend Healthcare is seeking a Psychiatric PA-C or PMHNP to deliver telemedicine psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment across the United States. You will work with Community Health Center partners to provide high-quality care, diagnosis, pharmacologic management, and supportive therapy via telehealth.

Applicants must hold an active medical license in their state, have DEA, and bring 2+ years of psychiatric APP experience. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Active and unrestricted Medical License in state of primary residence and state of medical services.
• 2+ years of experience as a Psychiatric APP (PMHNP required for NPs; CAQ in Psych preferred for PA-Cs).
• DEA License.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
• Patient-first mindset.

Aufgaben

• Psychiatric diagnostic evaluations for general mental health and substance use disorder across all ages.
• Psychopharmacological management of psychiatric conditions.
• Provide medication-assisted treatment for OUD in withdrawal or recovery.
• Supportive psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed approach.
• Coordinate care between psychiatry, substance use tx and medical integration.
• Direct support for scheduled and walk-in patients.
• Complete validated rating scales and treatment plans to determine level of care.
• Care coordination including referrals, housing and social determinants.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including PCPs, pediatricians, OB/GYN and peers.
