Job summary

Ascend Healthcare is seeking a Psychiatric PA-C/PMHNP for telemedicine-based psychiatric care with Community Health Center partners across the United States. You will provide diagnostic evaluations and medication management for mental health and substance use disorders, while coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires an active license, DEA, and 2+ years of APP experience. Remote work with strong patient access and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Medical License in state of primary residence.
• 2+ years as a Psychiatric Advance Practice Provider (PMHNP required for NPs; CAQ in Psych preferred for PA-Cs).
• DEA License is required.
• Bilingual—English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric diagnostic evaluations across general mental health and SUD.
• Provide psychopharmacological management for psychiatric conditions.
• Deliver telemedicine-based treatment to patients via partner centers.
• Coordinate care with PCPs, counselors, and care coordinators.
• Support medication-assisted treatment for OUD.
• Maintain accurate treatment plans and documentation.
