Ascend Healthcare seeks a Psychiatric PA‑C or PMHNP to provide telemedicine psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment to patients via our Community Health Center partners across the United States. The role requires an active, unrestricted medical license in Iowa and offers remote work with a patient‑centered, outcomes‑driven approach.

We prioritize a say-yes philosophy, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and a focus on recovery and stabilization through integrated care.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted medical license in state of primary residence and state of medical services.
• 2+ years of experience as a Psychiatric Advance Practice Provider (PMHNP for NPs; CAQ in Psych for PA-Cs).
• DEA License required.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform psychiatric diagnostic evaluations across age ranges.
• Manage psychopharmacology for diagnosed conditions.
• Provide medication-assisted treatment for OUD when appropriate.
• Supportive psychotherapy and motivational interviewing.
• Coordinate care between psychiatry, substance use treatment, and medical services.
• Assist scheduled and walk-in patients and document treatment plans.
