Job summary

Talkspace is seeking a Psychiatric Consultant to join our Collaborative Care team. You will support primary care providers, patients, and Behavioral Health Care Managers with regular case reviews and treatment recommendations, including medications, in a remote 1099 contract role.

Ohio-licensed psychiatrists or PMHNPs (FNP preferred) will provide guidance on patient care within a CoCM framework, with 2–5 hours weekly commitment and strong emphasis on collaboration and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatrist or PMHNP-BC required; Dual FNP preferred
• Licensed in Ohio; additional state licensure preferred
• Experience in a Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) or equivalent
• Ability to synthesize medical and psychiatric data and provide evidence-based recommendations
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting
• Excellent communication skills and flexible, solution-focused attitude

Responsibilities

• Provide regularly scheduled caseload consultation to Behavioral Health Care Managers.
• Advise on medications and other interventions within 24 hours of consultation.
• Oversee status and population health of assigned patient caseload with care managers.
• Offer occasional ad hoc telephone consultation for complex cases or challenging patient situations
