Optum is a global health organization delivering care through technology to improve health outcomes. This role focuses on education, training and relationship-building across the provider network in the U.S., operating within a high-touch service model.

You will join a flexible remote team, with standard schedule Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, traveling as needed. Candidates bring 3+ years in health plan or medical settings and strong communication across diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a related medical field or health plan setting.
• Experience interfacing with physicians, executives, and staff at all levels.
• Working knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare operations and CMS models.
• Knowledge of state and federal Medicare laws.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide education and training for the dedicated provider network.
• Conduct ongoing education and relationship-building for providers in member states.
• Support high-touch service model and expedited issue resolution.
• Assure network adequacy and develop recruitment plans in collaboration with contracting.
