Job summary

Optum Home & Community Care is seeking a Provider Engagement Representative for a remote role serving the New York market. You will build and maintain relationships with Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Facilities, design programs, and support network development while traveling within the NY area.

In this role you will coordinate education for facilities, manage provider education programs, and participate in meetings to review contracts, reimbursement opportunities, and performance metrics

Qualifications

• 2+ years of provider relations or provider network management experience.
• 1+ year of experience with Medicare/Medicaid regulations.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel 25% within the NY area.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with Skilled Nursing Facilities & Assisted Living Facilities.
• Design programs to build and nurture positive relationships between the health plan, providers, and business office managers.
• Direct and implement strategies relating to development and management of a provider network.
• Support all education opportunities on UnitedHealthcare businesses including in-person and telephonic interactions.
• Coordinate and lead external meetings (Account, JOC, provider engagement) with SNF staff to review performance and contracts.
