Job summary

TeamHealth in the United States seeks a Provider Enrollment Representative to support the Enrollment Department with clerical tasks, special projects, and general duties. You will receive notifications, identify payer and facility requirements, generate and send applications, and follow up on missing paperwork.

Responsibilities include payer research, generating application packets, updating Teamworks records, and acting as a liaison with COL and Credentials staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in a business setting with clerical skills, preferably medical/provider enrollment.
• Meticulous accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and work under pressure.
• Good decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Overtime may be required by management.

Responsibilities

• Receives notifications from the Clinician Onboarding Liaison (COL).
• Tracks and generates applications within 60 days of contract start.
• Conducts payer research on the provider.
• Adds providers to the group in Teamworks.
• Generates and prepares applications to send to provider.
• Generates reports to follow up on outstanding paperwork.
• Reviews returned packets for accuracy.
• Reviews weekly exception reports to prioritize issues.
• Follows up with providers for unreturned paperwork.
• Sends updated credentials to the payer.
• Primary contact for withdrawals; update Teamworks and inform others if needed.
• Generate correct payer paperwork for revalidations/begin re-credentialing.
• CAQH re-attestations.
• Partner with COL and Credentials Data Coordinators.
• Train staff on Provider Enrollment processes.
• Support Provider Enrollment Department.
