Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a recruiter to sign network participation agreements with physicians, hospitals, and ancillary providers in alignment with Corporate, health plan, and State guidelines. This role focuses on building a regional provider network and ensuring complete, accurate contracts for compliant claims adjudication.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree with 0–2 years in contracting or provider relations, and familiarity with Medicaid/Medicare is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 0-2 years contracting, contract analysis, provider relations, or provider experience in hospital/physician setting.
• Familiarity with State and/or Federal health care programs preferred (Medicaid, Medicare).

Responsibilities

• Recruit and develop network for a region and set of providers.
• Lead assigned recruitments (physician, hospital and ancillary) and ensure complete and accurate contracts meeting objectives.
• Facilitate provider setup and contract configuration for accurate claims adjudication.
• Identify potential providers by geographic and specialty needs and maintain database.
• Coordinate with internal departments and contracted providers to maintain contract compliance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
