Job summary

Centene Corp. is seeking a healthcare contracts recruiter to recruit physician, hospital and ancillary providers and sign network participation agreements in line with corporate, health plan, and state guidelines.

The role requires coordination with internal departments to ensure complete documentation, accurate contract configuration, and compliant claims adjudication. Indiana residency is required for the remote position, with occasional local travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of contracting, contract analysis, provider relations, or provider experience in hospital/physician settings.
• Familiarity with state and/or Federal health care programs (Medicaid, Medicare) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and develop regional provider networks.
• Lead assigned recruitments (physician, hospital, ancillary) and ensure contracts meet objectives.
• Oversee provider setup and contract configuration for accurate claims adjudication.
• Identify potential providers by geographic and specialty needs and update database.
• Coordinate with internal teams and providers to maintain contract compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
