Job summary

Astrana-Health-1 is seeking a Manager - Contracting to lead recruitment and negotiation of PCP, specialist, and ancillary provider contracts, ensuring alignment with company and state guidelines while expanding networks and overseeing post-contract intake, including credentialing and loading.

You will manage provider rosters, drive network performance through data, and coordinate with contracting, legal, credentialing, and provider data teams, with remote work and periodic travel to the Houston

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in health/admin field.
5+ years contracting or provider relations experience.
Experience with managed care and health programs.
Leadership experience with cross-functional teams.
Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of reimbursement models.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end recruitment and negotiation of regional and national providers per guidelines.
Manage new contracts and amendments with internal teams to ensure loading on time.
Maintain relationships with high-value providers via provider relations teams.
Define and monitor network reporting, metrics, and rosters.
Lead occasional meetings with health plans and executives to review performance.
