Job summary

Cayuse Holdings is seeking a Proposal Coordinator to develop timely, high-quality proposals and marketing materials. You will manage the full proposal lifecycle, align documents with company standards, and coordinate with Managers and Business Development to pursue government opportunities.

The role requires federal proposal experience, Shipley knowledge, strong writing and editing skills, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders including subcontractors and government clients.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree with 3 years of experience in technical writing or proposal writing, preferred.
• Two-year Associates Degree or seven or more years of work experience in a broad range of business and government-related environments, minimum.
• Prior Federal Government proposal experience, required.
• Advanced to Expert in Shipley or equivalent proposal processes and compliance
• Experience reading and analyzing Government RFPs, RFQs, Sources Sought, and RFI.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Create the layout, formatting, and design of proposals in compliance with government requirements.
• Draft proposal portions such as introduction, overview, project approach, and cover letter.
• Create / Manage the entire proposal management process, including capture, bid/no-bid, compliance matrices, drafts, color reviews, and final production.
• Synthesize proposal materials in a client-ready package.
• Understand procurement websites to highlight opportunities and use tools offered by each site.
• Perform daily queries on procurement websites and provide preliminary opportunity evaluations.
