Job summary

A national independent insurance adjusting firm seeks Multi-Line Claims adjusters with the ability to work remotely to handle both property and liability claims. Candidates must possess the ability to adjust commercial and residential property losses and determine negligence and damages with modest supervision.

Requirements include 5+ years of experience, proficiency with Xactimate, strong time management and customer service skills, and a valid driver’s license. Background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years first-party commercial and/or residential property and liability adjusting experience.
• Strong knowledge of property and liability insurance coverage and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs field property inspections and liability investigations to determine negligence and damages using Xactimate.
• Obtain statements from insureds, claimants, or witnesses; interview officials and inspect claimed damages.
• Recommend claim reserves based on investigation with a well-supported reserve report.
• Obtain and interpret official reports; review coverage forms and endorsements for issues.
• Maintain quality by complying with Best Practices of the client.
