Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Director, Claims - Field Property to lead performance across a geographic territory. This role balances operational results with customer experience and associate development while ensuring compliance and effective resource use.

The position requires travel (including overnight) and relocation consideration for qualified candidates. CAT readiness and strategic direction are key components of the role.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or post-graduate studies preferred.
• State licensing where required (License/Certification/Designation).
• Minimum ten years in a claims operation with at least two years in management.
• General knowledge of insurance theory, practices, contracts and their application.

Responsibilities

• Manage claims processes within property claims and a geographic location.
• Coordinate with claims functions (QA, legal, subrogation, fraud, centers, technical).
• Develop and implement new solutions and processes to meet metrics and regulations.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to Nationwide customers.
