Job summary

Capital Insurance Group is seeking a General Adjuster for a remote role with extensive travel across CA, WA, OR, NV and AZ. You will handle complex property, habitability, and environmental claims with strong negotiation and analytical skills.

Requires seven years of claim experience, catastrophe adjusting background, and a CA driver license. Benefits include comprehensive medical plans, 401(k) with match, and generous PTO. Remote flexibility supported by travel commitments.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent experience and seven years of claim experience.
• Three years of experience in handling complex claim files.
• Experience in catastrophe adjusting.
• Property Claims Law Associate designation preferred, AIC recommended.
• Knowledge of current claims laws and trends in property insurance.
• Strong math and accounting knowledge for living-expense calculations.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to explain complex legal concepts in writing and speech.
• Must maintain a valid California Driver License.
