Job summary

West Bend Insurance Company is seeking a claims professional to handle complex CL & PL property claims in the Madison, WI area with minimal supervision. The role is fully remote with up to 50% field time for Madison territory activities and occasional in-person engagements such as team meetings and training.

Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Insurance or related field, multiple claims designations, and CPCU coursework.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex CL & PL property claims with minimal supervision.
• Research and formulate coverage decisions; conduct thorough investigations.
• Negotiate settlements with insureds, claimants, and attorneys.
• Mentor teammates and ensure compliance with audit guidelines.
• Participate in training and contribute to team performance.
