Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with five years of claims handling experience, or a Bachelor's degree with two years.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain any required licenses.
• Incumbent must live in territory assigned unless a change is approved by the company.
• Associate in Claims (AIC) program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations, interviews, and inspections of damage within assigned territory.
• Set reserves, review reports, determine coverage and claim value.
• Issue or declines payment and negotiate with plaintiff attorneys when necessary.
• Document claim files and submit closure reports.
