The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of property management accounting experience and strong leadership skills. This position is remote but candidates must reside in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of property management accounting experience within multifamily housing.
• Experience supporting affordable housing portfolios.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing Property Accountants.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions for a portfolio of multifamily properties.
• Review and approve monthly financial statements and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.
