Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Property Accounting Intern to handle full-cycle accounting tasks for a set of properties, review financial statements, prepare journal entries, and assist in bank reconciliations.

You will participate in a 10-week Summer Internship program across Investment, Finance, IT, Data, Leasing, Development, or Operations, with a capstone project and compensation of $21.00 per hour; the majority of teams work remotely with the option to base out of regional offices.

Qualifications

• Curiosity and desire to learn.
• Quantitative background with analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Deadline-driven with attention to detail.
• Preferred Accounting/Finance major; graduating Dec 2026–May 2027.

Responsibilities

• Learn line of business and day-to-day team responsibilities.
• Complete in-house training for applications and techniques.
• Monitor and analyze monthly operating results and financial reports.
• Support development of financial outlooks and forecasts.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for internal use.
• Assist in annual budgeting with data gathering.
• Collaborate with teams to provide financial insights.
• Support other projects to gain exposure to financial planning.
• Build relationships with Greystar teams to reach goals.
