Job summary

NBA is seeking a Project Employee (Workflow Development) to maintain and improve project workflows and to build spreadsheet-based tools for data management. The role supports creating Google Sheets and Apps Script solutions, performing data cleanup, and producing reports from complex datasets.

The position is temporary, up to 10 months, with a remote option of one day per week. Bachelor’s degree is required, and excellence in Excel, Google Sheets, and programming basics is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving abilities.
• Programming knowledge: Google Apps Script, Python, VBA or JavaScript.
• Experience with automation tools (DocParser, Zapier, Automate.io).
• Awareness of GUIs, web apps, APIs and data workflows.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and improve current project workflows.
• Data entry and cleanup on various projects.
• Create project management workspaces using Google Sheets/Google Apps Script.
• Fix spreadsheet issues and reduce reoccurrence proactively.
• Create concise reports and visual graphics from complex datasets.
• Assist in database management and automation tool implementation.
• Follow technology trends to improve processes.
• Flexible to work nights and/or weekends when necessary.
