Job summary

Switch is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate customer implementations and connectivity initiatives across the sales lifecycle. You’ll partner with Sales, Solutions Architecture, carrier partners, and customers to ensure services are delivered on schedule and with high quality.

You will support engineering initiatives, maintain project plans, and expand knowledge in telecom engineering and project management tools while delivering a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Six or more years of customer-facing experience within telecommunications.
• Experience managing multiple telecom or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of Ethernet, MEF services, wavelength, IP networking, MPLS, SD-WAN, and voice services.
• Experience coordinating work across internal teams, customers, carriers and external partners.
• Strong project management, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in pre-sales customer meetings to support technical discussions and project planning.
• Build and maintain relationships with customer stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Serve as the central coordinator between customers, carrier partners, and Switch teams.
• Communicate milestones, schedules, risks, and deliverables to stakeholders.
• Coordinate multiple carrier vendors to ensure timely service delivery.
• Support post-sales requests and coordinate with Sales on upgrades/moves/adds/changes.
• Develop and maintain customer-facing and internal project plans.
• Support engineering initiatives from Solutions Architecture, including fiber mapping and infrastructure docs.
• Expand technical knowledge through ongoing telecom engineering and PM tools learning.
