Job summary

Parametrix is seeking a Project Manager to join our Advisory Services team in San Francisco, overseeing activities across planning, design, procurement, and delivery. You will develop PM plans, manage risk, and coordinate with municipal clients to meet milestones.

You bring 5+ years of multi-disciplinary PM experience, a relevant engineering or construction degree, and familiarity with contract analysis, value engineering, and risk assessment. PMP or related certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive multi-disciplinary project management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience overseeing complex, multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience working directly with municipal clients and agencies.
• Alternative/collaborative delivery experience is preferred.
• Experience with contract analysis, constructability reviews, value engineering studies, and risk assessments.
• PMP or other relevant certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project activities across multiple disciplines, including planning and design services, owner’s advisory services, procurement, construction management, strategic communications, ESJ, outreach and engagement, and other functions.
• Bring expertise in understanding of client goals through comprehensive project scheduling, cost estimating, risk management, work package planning, and process oversight, while maintaining accurate tracking and reporting.
• Lead the creation and implementation of project management plans and procedures, supporting efficient project execution.
• Provide expertise in contract analysis, value engineering, and risk assessments to enhance project planning and execution strategies.
• Participate in business development, RFP support, and client presentations, contributing to department growth and project pursuit efforts.
