Job summary

Parametrix, a 100% employee-owned consulting firm, seeks a Project Manager for Advisory Services to oversee multi-disciplinary projects, managing contracting, procurement, risk, and document control while developing PM plans and procedures.

You bring 5+ years of PM experience, a relevant engineering/construction degree, and experience with municipal clients. PMP is preferred. Hybrid/remote options support work-life balance with a rich benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive multi-disciplinary project management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience overseeing complex, multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience working directly with municipal clients and agencies.
• Alternative/collaborative delivery experience is preferred.
• Experience with contract analysis, constructability reviews, value engineering studies, and risk assessments.
• PMP or other relevant certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project activities across multiple disciplines, including planning and design services, as well as, owner’s advisory services, procurement, construction management, strategic communications, Equity & Social Justice (ESJ), outreach and engagement, and other functions.
• Bring expertise in understanding of client goals through comprehensive project scheduling, cost estimating, risk management, work package planning, and process oversight, while maintaining accurate tracking and reporting.
• Lead the creation and implementation of project management plans and procedures, supporting efficient project execution.
• Provide expertise in contract analysis, value engineering, and risk assessments to enhance project planning and execution strategies.
• Participate in business development, RFP support, and client presentations, contributing to department growth and project pursuit efforts.
