Job summary

ASRC Federal NetCentric seeks a Project Manager to support a DHS contract located in Springfield, VA. The role may be supported remotely but requires flexibility to travel to the client site when necessary.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree with 24 credit hours in business-related courses, at least five years of relevant experience in information systems development and/or project management, and a PMP certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 24 credit hours in business related courses.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in information systems development and/or project management, including managing projects from inception through deployment.
• Must have a PMP certification.
• Demonstrated experience managing a team of technical employees.
• Must be a US citizen to meet contract requirements.
• Successfully complete a DHS government issued background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Management and technical direction of projects.
• Project performance including cost, schedule, deliverables, and contractual compliance.
• Accountable for the quality and timely delivery of all project deliverable items.
• Overall project/task performance.
• Enforcing work standards, reviewing work discrepancies, supervising technical personnel, and communicating policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinate personnel.
• Assisting in the budgeting of required resources for successful project implementation and completion.
