Job summary

Calbright College seeks a Project Management Adjunct Instructor (Mastery Validator) to evaluate student mastery in a competency-based program. This part-time, remote role supports evenings and weekends, leveraging industry experience and content knowledge to provide substantive feedback and guidance toward mastery of outcomes.

The instructor collaborates with university colleagues, uses digital platforms, and stays current with program content while adhering to Calbright policies and training

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Industry-aligned program pathway certification preferred
• 1–3 years of industry-relevant work experience
• Ability to work with diverse populations
• Evenings/weekends schedule; 20 hours per week (PST)
• Experience teaching or mentoring adults in competency-based environments

Responsibilities

• Provide feedback to students to support mastery of program outcomes
• Monitor student progress and provide timely support
• Apply current content knowledge and teach with equity-centered practices
• Use technology-based teaching tools and university systems
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning
• Assess student work based on mastery of industry skills and knowledge
