Job summary

GXO is seeking a Project Implementations Manager to drive new business startups, improve operational efficiency and contribute to the company’s financial success through effective planning, execution, resource management and on-time, on-budget delivery.

This role is open to candidates based remotely anywhere in the US, with a preference for the Minneapolis, MN metro area. 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. Travel up to 75% and strong cross-functional collaboration are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of experience in operations, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
• Lean or Six Sigma experience.
• Project management experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Establish realistic goals and action plans for achieving set objectives for new business implementations.
• Guide and direct project team members to ensure compliance with standards and guidelines.
• Ensure availability of financial, material and human resources to complete projects.
• Evaluate progress to identify issues and implement solutions for efficiency.
• Develop communication strategies across departments and clients.
• Delegate tasks to project team members and ensure even workload distribution.
• Participate in educational programs to update job knowledge and expand network.
• Mentor Project Managers to meet project goals.
