Job summary

Nelly’s Construction is seeking a Project Estimator to prepare accurate and organized bids for construction projects in the Hampton, NH area. The role involves material takeoffs, gathering supplier pricing, and compiling estimates that clearly outline quantities, costs, and scope of work.

The successful candidate will monitor bid deadlines, prepare AIA invoices and lien waivers, and work with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing while upholding quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of estimating experience.
• Ability to read plans and specifications.
• Proficiency with Excel; CAD familiarity preferred.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication with suppliers and the team.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans (paper or digital) and complete quantity takeoffs.
• Request and compare supplier pricing.
• Develop accurate, detailed project estimates in an organized format.
• Monitor bid deadlines and ensure timely submissions.
• Prepare AIA invoices and notarized lien waivers for ongoing projects.
