Job summary

Greystar seeks a Project Engineer for the Ole Miss student housing site in Oxford, MS. You will support the Assistant PM, PM and Superintendent in planning and execution of construction projects, maintaining schedules and budgets.

You will handle punch lists, site coordination, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reporting. A proactive, collaborative mindset and internship/field construction experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Internship or field experience in construction.
• Strong organizational, time-management and project management skills to track, report and manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with owners, architects, subcontractors and business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with subcontractors and project team members.
• Assist project team in managing site, subcontractors and inspections.
• Troubleshoot issues affecting schedules and surface concerns to leaders.
• Manage punch lists, city inspections, safety and quality reviews.
• Handle project controls: RFIs, submittals, documents, changes.
• Review/change orders and ensure budgets reflect changes.
• Process submittal data and drawings to expedite schedules.
• Assist preconstruction with quantity takeoffs, bids and estimates.
• Support development of project schedule and subcontractor detail schedules.
• Assist in budgeting and expense tracking.
• Attend OAC meetings and prepare progress reports.
