Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Project Engineer Intern for a student housing construction site at Ole Miss in Oxford, MS. You will support the Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, and Superintendent in planning and executing construction projects, maintaining schedules and budgets, and handling various documentation tasks.

The role emphasizes relationship-building with subcontractors and team members, proactive issue resolution, and active involvement in quality, safety, and progress reporting

Qualifications

• Internship or field experience in construction.
• Strong organizational, time-management and project management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Critical thinker and self-starter capable of working with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with subcontractors and project team members.
• Assist project team in site management and inspections; surface issues to leaders.
• Participate in punch lists, site inspections, safety and quality reviews; document results.
• Manage submittals, RFI processes, documentation, and change control.
• Review change orders and help update budgets to reflect changes.
