Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Project Cost Controls Analyst for a fully remote role with periodic travel to site (up to 25%). You will build cost forecasts, analyze cost drivers, and develop actionable insights for project leadership.

Responsibilities include maintaining internal controls, forecasting, and presenting executive-ready analyses that guide decision-making and efficiency improvements across solar, storage, and high voltage substation projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant analytical field.
• Experience with cost controls, FP&A, or data-driven roles.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI, Python, and/or SQL preferred.
• Ability to translate data into business insights for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain project-level cost forecasts and monitor cost drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Implement analytics models to forecast future project cost based on historical data.
• Assist with budget mapping and ensure fiscal accuracy across the department.
• Analyze performance trends and variance drivers across cost, schedule, and resources.
• Develop and maintain cost tracking and reporting systems for operational reporting.
