Job summary

Fluor is seeking a seasoned cost control professional to prepare work breakdown structures, manage project budgets, and develop scheduling procedures for complex engineering and construction projects. You will participate in regular cost reviews, implement change management, and maintain integrated project schedules.

Requirements include a four-year degree with extensive experience in cost control, scheduling, and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in applicable field.
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable statutes and guidelines.
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures for control and integrity of work defined by the contract.
• Accumulate and compile cost management data to prepare the project budget and update project progress.
• Develop cost control and scheduling procedures, execution plan, and business plan for a project.
• Participate in weekly project cost reviews and schedule meetings.
• Develop and implement a basic change management system for engineering and construction.
• Develop and maintain Management, Project and Control level schedules.
• Other duties as assigned.
