Job summary

Sabin Vaccine Institute, Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator for Research & Development to support vaccine development programs across CMC, non-clinical, clinical, and regulatory areas. You will partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to enable alignment and delivery per plan.

The role involves financial planning, reconciliation, reporting, and coordinating workstreams within a multidisciplinary environment. Remote work is offered to US-based applicants; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, biotech, or related field.
• 2+ years of project coordination or similar role in life sciences preferred.
• Experience with Smartsheet and MS Project desirable.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Program and Project Managers in coordinating day-to-day activities and tracking progress of vaccine development programs.
• Plan and monitor activities, timelines, forecast and actuals, and deliverables to ensure on-time completion.
• Coordinate across teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
• Prepare, track, review, polish, and file deliverables for timely stakeholder submissions.
• Support meeting execution, including scheduling, agendas, minutes, action items, and materials.
• Assist in creating and updating project timelines using Office Timeline, Smartsheet and MS Project.
• Maintain up-to-date project files and document control within PM systems.
• Assist in developing and improving Program and Project Management processes and tools.
• Support improvement projects by providing planning and execution leadership.
